To become one of the leading and preferred departments for students seeking education of a distinguished level and an academic environment characterized by cooperation, discipline, and commitment to academic norms and high ethical values at the regional level, in alignment with the objectives of the Technical University, and to be a pioneering department in qualifying specialized cadres in insurance.

Objectives:
The Insurance Technologies Department program aims for its graduates to:

  • Be well-versed in scientific and practical knowledge consistent with quality standards and qualifying for the labor market.

  • Acquire analytical and interpretive skills, as well as communication, initiative, and leadership skills.

  • Be capable of addressing contemporary research problems and applying acquired knowledge in the field of insurance and risk management.

  • Be committed to the regulations of teamwork while observing professional ethics and assuming responsibility in a manner consistent with societal values.

  • Be able to consolidate the concepts of insurance and risk management and highlight them across all courses studied by students.

Graduate Work Description:

First: Academic Degree Awarded:
The department awards graduates the Technical Diploma in Insurance.

Second: Graduate Attributes:
The establishment of the Department of Insurance Technology provides graduates with a set of distinguishing attributes in the labor market, including:

  • The ability to apply fundamental principles and theories in insurance and risk management.

  • Proficiency in using mathematical and statistical methods in analysis, especially regarding the use of computer-based applications in management and insurance.

  • The ability to conduct research on complex problems and develop innovative solutions, particularly in managing crises during environmental and natural disasters and mitigating their side effects.

  • Commitment to professional ethics, proper conduct at individual and group levels, and serving as a model of good practice.
