Academic Description Program
The Division was established in the academic year 2020-2021.
The Vision:
To graduate qualified healthcare administrative and technical personnel capable of planning, organizing, directing, and supervising healthcare services in accordance with the requirements of the Iraqi healthcare system.
The Mission:
To prepare qualified technical staff in healthcare administration who possess comprehensive administrative and supervisory skills, including planning, oversight, motivation, direction, evaluation, and monitoring. The division emphasizes the importance of coordination between healthcare staff and supporting personnel in hospitals to ensure the success of healthcare systems, family medicine, and the implementation of an automated information system. Graduates are empowered to apply information technology systems, enhance skills in computer usage, internet navigation, English communication, and medical terminology related to diseases.
The Objective:
The division aims to supply both public and private healthcare institutions with qualified administrative healthcare personnel who are capable of managing the healthcare sector and applying modern methods and concepts in service delivery, while addressing issues and challenges related to the provision of healthcare services to the community.
The Job Description for Graduates.
– Administrative Services Management: This division is responsible for overseeing activities such as record-keeping, mail distribution, and office maintenance.
– Information Systems and Computer Management: Its role involves planning, coordinating, and directing activities related to computer systems.
– Financial Management: This division manages all financial matters, including budgeting, financial reports, and related activities.
– Human Resources Management: Responsible for organizing and coordinating administrative functions within the organization, overseeing the recruitment of new employees, and conducting personal interviews.
– Medical Records Management: Organizes, manages, and classifies health-related information accurately to establish a comprehensive database.
– Social and Community Services Management: Responsible for coordinating and overseeing social and community-related services.
– Proficiency in the use of computer systems: Demonstrates a high level of skill in handling computer devices and software.
