Student Discipline Instructions<\/h1>\n\n\n
\n

Article 1<\/h3>\n

The Student Shall Commit to the Following:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Complying with all laws, regulations, and instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its institutions.<\/li>\n
  • Respecting religious beliefs and national unity and avoiding any incitement to conflict.<\/li>\n
  • Not harming the reputation of the institution or its members.<\/li>\n
  • Maintaining proper academic conduct and respect for all staff and students.<\/li>\n
  • Demonstrating disciplined behavior that reflects positively on future opportunities.<\/li>\n
  • Maintaining order and avoiding disruption within the campus.<\/li>\n
  • Preserving university property and facilities.<\/li>\n
  • Not disrupting the academic process.<\/li>\n
  • Adhering to the official student uniform.<\/li>\n
  • Avoiding promotion of division or discrimination.<\/li>\n
  • Not engaging in political or sectarian activities on campus.<\/li>\n
  • Not inviting political or religious figures for promotional activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

    Article 2<\/h3>\n

    The Student Shall Be Warned If:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Failure to adhere to the prescribed uniform.<\/li>\n
    • Disrespecting fellow students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
      \n

      Article 3<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Repeating a violation after receiving a warning.<\/li>\n
      • Disrupting order within the institution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
        \n

        Article 4<\/h3>\n

        30-Day Suspension If:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • Repeating violations after warning.<\/li>\n
        • Insulting staff members.<\/li>\n
        • Defaming faculty members.<\/li>\n
        • Posting inappropriate materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
          \n

          Article 5<\/h3>\n

          Temporary Suspension (Up to 1 Year):<\/strong><\/p>\n

            \n
          • Repeating Article 4 violations.<\/li>\n
          • Engaging in political or sectarian activities.<\/li>\n
          • Physical assault.<\/li>\n
          • Violence against students.<\/li>\n
          • Threats or armed behavior.<\/li>\n
          • Carrying weapons.<\/li>\n
          • Damaging university property.<\/li>\n
          • Insulting national unity or beliefs.<\/li>\n
          • Insulting faculty.<\/li>\n
          • Damaging university reputation.<\/li>\n
          • Disrupting studies.<\/li>\n
          • Fraud or deception.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

            Article 6<\/h3>\n

            Final Expulsion If:<\/strong><\/p>\n

              \n
            • Repeating Article 5 violations.<\/li>\n
            • Assaulting faculty members.<\/li>\n
            • Immoral conduct.<\/li>\n
            • Forgery.<\/li>\n
            • Disturbing campus security.<\/li>\n
            • Criminal conviction affecting honor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

              Article 7<\/h3>\n
                \n
              • Disciplinary penalties do not prevent legal penalties.<\/li>\n
              • Disciplinary actions may be delayed until legal cases are resolved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
                \n

                Article 8<\/h3>\n

                \nThe Dean shall form a Student Discipline Committee headed by the Vice Dean, including faculty members, a legal expert, and a student representative.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

                \n

                Article 9<\/h3>\n

                No disciplinary action shall be imposed without committee recommendation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

                \n

                Article 10<\/h3>\n

                Penalties are issued by the College or Institute Council.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

                \n

                Article 11<\/h3>\n
                  \n
                • Warnings are final decisions.<\/li>\n
                • Students may appeal short-term suspension.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
                  \n

                  Article 12<\/h3>\n

                  Students may appeal within 7 days or 15 days from announcement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

                  \n

                  Article 13<\/h3>\n

                  Decisions are posted for 15 days and guardians are notified.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

                  \n

                  Article 14<\/h3>\n

                  Previous regulations No. 19 of 1989 are repealed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

                  \n

                  Article 15<\/h3>\n

                  These regulations take effect upon official publication.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
