{"id":39125,"date":"2025-12-09T12:20:08","date_gmt":"2025-12-09T12:20:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/idi.atu.edu.iq\/?p=39125"},"modified":"2025-12-23T12:21:46","modified_gmt":"2025-12-23T12:21:46","slug":"middle-euphrates-technical-university-womens-affairs-unit-holds-a-seminar-titled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/idi.atu.edu.iq\/?p=39125&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Middle Euphrates Technical University \u2013 Women\u2019s Affairs Unit holds a seminar titled"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"ltr\"><strong>&#8220;Human Development, Decision-Making, and Enhancing Women\u2019s Capacities and Role in Society&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"ltr\">The <strong>Women\u2019s Affairs Unit<\/strong> at the <strong>College of Polytechnic \u2013 Al-Qadisiyah<\/strong>, in cooperation with the <strong>Department of Insurance Techniques<\/strong> and as part of the <strong>Third National Plan for Women: Security and Peace as a Pillar of Institutional Reform<\/strong>, held a seminar titled <strong>&#8220;Human Development, Decision-Making, and Enhancing Women\u2019s Capacities and Role in Society.&#8221;<\/strong> The seminar was presented by <strong>Dr. Salima Najm Abdullah<\/strong>, <strong>Eng. Zaid Kazem Katouf<\/strong>, and <strong>Eng. Omaima Farman Toman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"ltr\">The seminar included a definition of human development and decision-making, types of decisions, and the role of women in human development and decision-making processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"ltr\">It was emphasized that <strong>enhancing women\u2019s capacities is not a luxury but a developmental necessity<\/strong>. Every opportunity granted to women, every skill they acquire, and every decision they participate in directly impacts the family, society, and the nation. When women are given the space to express their opinions and take part in decision-making, they become genuine partners in change, rather than mere recipients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"ltr\">At the conclusion of the seminar, several recommendations were presented aimed at <strong>providing women with greater opportunities to participate in decision-making across various fields, granting them the support they deserve, and recognizing their ability to innovate and shape the future<\/strong>.
