In the presence of the Dean of the Polytechnic College \u2013 Al-Qadisiyah, Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiya; Member of the Council of Representatives Mr. Ali Salman Al-Moussawi; Member of the Al-Qadisiyah Provincial Council Mr. Hassan Adneen Al-Hilali; Director of the Women\u2019s Affairs Department in Al-Diwaniyah Governorate Dr. Zainab Karim; the archaeologist Amer Abdulrazzaq; Director of the Institute for the Deaf and Mute Ms. Hiba Mohammed Abdulhassan; Coordinator of the Supreme Council for Youth \/ Council of Ministers Engineer Mohammed Dakhil; a number of distinguished guests; the Assistant Deans; Heads of Scientific Departments; and a number of staff members and students, the Polytechnic College \u2013 Al-Qadisiyah held the first edition of the Polytechnic Event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event included the opening of the first edition of the Polytechnic Event, followed by a speech delivered by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiya, in which he emphasized the importance of supporting youth potential and fostering creativity and excellence, praising the role of student activities in developing students\u2019 skills and enhancing the spirit of initiative and teamwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The archaeologist Amer Abdulrazzaq also delivered a lecture addressing the importance of the civilizational heritage of Al-Diwaniyah Governorate and the role of youth and academic institutions in preserving and promoting archaeological sites, stressing the necessity of enhancing cultural and historical awareness among students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event also witnessed the honoring of distinguished and creative participants in volunteer work from among the college\u2019s faculty members and students, in appreciation of their efforts and achievements. This was followed by honoring a number of college staff members referred to retirement, in recognition of their contributions throughout their professional careers, as well as honoring a number of distinguished and influential figures in Al-Diwaniyah Governorate, in appreciation of their active roles and community contributions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event included a free drawing activity for students, through which participants expressed their creativity and ideas in a purposeful artistic manner that reflected their aspirations and future vision, contributing to the development of artistic taste and encouraging student talents within the college. In addition, a balloon activity added a distinctive interactive atmosphere that reflected the spirit of joy and enthusiasm among students and encouraged them to engage in community participation and volunteer activities within the university campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was organized by the Student Activities Division, represented by Assistant Lecturer Rasha Hussein Ahmed, in cooperation with the Women\u2019s Affairs Unit, represented by Ms. Rahab Karim Hadi, and under the supervision and organization of Mr. Youssef Hussein Al-Qurra Gholi, Mr. Mahmoud Aliwi Mohammed, and Mr. Sajad Hadi Kitab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
