The Department of Mechanical Engineering Technologies at the Polytechnic College \u2013 Al-Qadisiyah organized a workshop titled “Green Spaces in Colleges and Institutes: Transforming Empty Spaces into Sustainable Educational Environments,” attended by a number of college staff and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshop was conducted by Assistant Lecturer Duaa Hussein Kazem and Mr. Riyadh Kazem Mohan, Head of the Agriculture Unit. The workshop addressed the importance of green spaces and their role in improving the educational environment, along with their positive impacts on the mental and environmental health of students and faculty members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the significance of green spaces in educational institutions and to promote the concept of environmental sustainability in colleges and institutes through the repurposing of empty spaces into environmentally-friendly educational areas. It also encouraged student and academic initiatives to design and implement green projects within the university campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
