The Women\u2019s Affairs Unit at the Polytechnic College \u2013 Al-Qadisiyah, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a workshop entitled \u201cThe Role of Women in Entrepreneurship,\u201d in accordance with the executive plan of the National Strategy for Iraqi Women (First Paragraph \/ Second Axis), and in cooperation with the Department of Insurance Technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Rasha Hamid, Assistant Lecturer Ikhlas Kadhim, and Assistant Lecturer Hadeel Numan, who presented scientific themes addressing the importance of women\u2019s economic empowerment and strengthening their presence in the labor market through entrepreneurial projects and innovative initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshop focused on defining the concept of entrepreneurship and its impact on achieving financial independence and building a productive society, while highlighting the role of women in transforming ideas into successful projects that contribute to sustainable development. It also discussed the challenges women may face when establishing their projects, such as lack of funding or limited community support, and proposed mechanisms to overcome these challenges through training, building professional networks, and leveraging modern technologies and digital marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
