Al-Qadisiyah Technical College at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University (ATU) has finalized its preparations for the 1st International Scientific Conference<\/strong>. This was announced during a meeting chaired by the Dean, Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiah, in the presence of Professor Dr. Qahtan Adnan Al-Fatlawi (Dean of Rumaitha Technical Institute), Professor Dr. Hassanein Ghani Al-Husseini (Dean of the Engineering Technical College \u2013 Najaf), vice-deans, and faculty members involved in the organizing committees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference is organized by Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, represented by Al-Qadisiyah Technical College, the Engineering Technical College \u2013 Najaf, and Rumaitha Technical Institute, in partnership with Erbil Polytechnic University<\/strong>. Scheduled for April 2026, the event will be held under the slogan:
“Technical Education: Our Path to Achieving Sustainable Development Goals”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And titled:
“1st International Conference on Engineering-Science Nexus for Sustainable Development (ESNSD 2026)”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, the committee reviewed all preparations regarding the scientific curriculum, approved the session schedules, and finalized technical procedures for receiving researchers and guests. This included ensuring the readiness of halls, presentation tools, laboratories, and poster exhibition areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The discussions also covered logistical arrangements, including services for participants and coordinating the tasks of the organizing teams. Additionally, the media coverage plan was reviewed to ensure the conference\u2019s objectives and scientific messages effectively reach the academic community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dean, Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiah, emphasized that this conference represents a significant scientific milestone. He stated that ATU aims to strengthen its research standing and expand collaboration with local and international institutions, furthering the university’s commitment to supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
