The Women\u2019s Affairs Unit at the Polytechnic College \u2013 Al-Qadisiyah, one of the formations of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a workshop entitled \u201cWomen and the Power of Influence: Promoting Positivity in Society.\u201d The workshop was held in cooperation with the Department of Mechanical Engineering and within the framework of implementing the National Strategy to Combat Violence Against Women and Girls \/ Recovery Pillar \u2013 Paragraph Two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshop was delivered by Eng. Israa Abduljaleel, Asst. Lect. Zahraa Kareem, and Asst. Lect. Doaa Hussein. It addressed several important themes highlighting the role of women in creating positive impact within society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshop covered key topics, including the concept of women\u2019s power of influence, their role in building positive values, and their impact within the family and social environment. It also focused on women\u2019s empowerment, strengthening self-confidence, developing effective communication skills, and promoting a culture of optimism and hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, the workshop discussed the challenges women face in achieving societal influence and reviewed strategies to enhance their positive role. Successful models of influential women in society were presented, along with discussions on women\u2019s contributions to community initiatives and development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshop also addressed the challenges facing women-led projects and showcased successful experiences aimed at strengthening participants\u2019 confidence and encouraging progress, while emphasizing the importance of positivity and optimism in psychological, social, and family aspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshop concluded with a number of recommendations, most notably self-empowerment and personal capacity building through enhancing self-confidence and developing communication and emotional intelligence skills, thereby transforming women\u2019s potential into an effective force of influence that begins within the family and extends to society at large.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
