Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College Organizes a Training Course on Managing Community Conflicts Based on Justice and Human Rights<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Women’s Affairs Unit at Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College\u2014a formation of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University\u2014organized a training course titled “Managing Community Conflicts in Accordance with the Principles of Justice and Human Rights.”<\/strong> This initiative is part of the implementation of the Third National Plan for Women, Peace, and Security (Protection Pillar \u2013 Paragraph Two), held in cooperation with the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Techniques and the Government Media and Communications Division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course was presented by Asst. Lect. Nidaa Ageel<\/strong>, Head of the Legal Division; Asst. Lect. Ahmed Thabit Faisal<\/strong>, Head of the Government Media and Communications Division; and Ms. Rehab Kareem Hadi<\/strong>, Head of the Women\u2019s Affairs Unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course addressed the concept of community conflict management as an essential skill for handling disputes in a conscious and peaceful manner by understanding the root causes of conflict and working to contain them before they escalate. It also focused on establishing the principles of justice and human rights as the primary reference for resolving disputes, ensuring human dignity is respected and fairness is achieved among all parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, the sessions explored practical methods for conflict management, including constructive dialogue, interest-based negotiation, and mediation to bridge viewpoints, while emphasizing the importance of effective communication skills in reducing tension and misunderstanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course also highlighted the role of human values, such as tolerance and peaceful coexistence, in building a cohesive society, in addition to the importance of promoting a culture of human rights and legal awareness to prevent conflicts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, the course underscored the vital role of youth and women in supporting community peace and contributing to fair and sustainable solutions that enhance social stability and development.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
