Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Polytechnic – Al-Qadisiyah, Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahieh, and under the direct supervision of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul Hussein, the Student Activities Division organized a five-a-side football tournament among the academic departments. The tournament was held from Sunday, October 12, 2025, to Sunday, October 19, 2025.
The tournament witnessed remarkable competitions and enthusiastic sporting spirit among the participating students, demonstrating both teamwork and fair play. The matches reflected a high level of technical skill, showcasing the students’ abilities and athletic talents.
At the conclusion of the morning sessions, the Department of Business Administration Technologies secured first place, while the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics took second place.
In the evening session competitions, the Department of Community Health Technologies achieved first place, with the Department of Health Administration coming in second.
At the closing of the tournament, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahieh, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Student Activities Division and the organizing committees for their efforts in successfully managing and executing the event at a high standard. He emphasized the college administration’s ongoing support for student activities, which contribute to developing students’ skills, fostering teamwork, and strengthening university belonging.
