The assistant lecturer Maysar I‘lan Abbas, a faculty member in the Department of Medical Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Technologies, and the assistant lecturer Hussein Jiyad Lafta, a faculty member in the Department of Accounting Technologies, have published a joint scientific research paper in the international Journal of Harbin Engineering University. The journal is indexed in the Scopus databases and is regarded as a reputable, internationally recognized scientific journal.

The paper is entitled:

“Analytical and Computational Study of Solitary Wave Solutions Using the Kudryashev Method with Neural Parameter Optimization.”

The study presents an analytical and computational investigation of solitary wave solutions using the Kudryashev method, with model parameters optimized through artificial intelligence techniques.

The research aims to:

  1. Provide accurate analytical solutions for solitary waves of the Burgers–Korteweg–de Vries (BKdV) equation, which is considered one of the fundamental equations for describing complex physical phenomena such as fluid dynamics, plasma physics, and nonlinear optics.
  2. Apply the Kudryashev method as an effective analytical approach for obtaining exact solitary wave solutions by representing the solutions as rational functions of exponential terms.
  3. Integrate the analytical approach with artificial intelligence techniques, particularly neural networks, to improve the estimation of unknown model parameters and enhance the accuracy of the final solutions.
  4. Develop a hybrid methodology that combines symbolic analysis with numerical computation, providing an effective and applicable scientific tool for solving nonlinear differential equations in the fields of applied mathematics and mathematical physics.

This scientific achievement reflects Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College’s commitment to supporting high-quality scientific research and encouraging faculty members to publish in internationally indexed journals, thereby contributing to the enhancement of the academic standing of the college and the university at both the local and international levels.
