Assistant Professor Dr. Marwa Ali Ouda, a faculty member in the Department of Medical Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy at Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College, has published a scientific research paper titled:
“Correlation Between Helicobacter Pylori Infection, Gene Methylation, and Host Genetic Polymorphisms in Gastric Cancer.”
The paper was published in the American Journal of Biology and Natural Sciences. It investigates the relationship between Helicobacter pylori infection, gene methylation, and host genetic polymorphisms, and their role in the development of gastric cancer. The study analyzes the methylation patterns of certain genes related to inflammation, DNA repair, and apoptosis.
This research is part of ongoing scientific efforts to promote medical and applied research and highlight the molecular factors associated with cancerous diseases. It contributes to advancing the research and scientific endeavors within the college and the university.
The Dean of Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College appreciates the scientific efforts of its faculty members, wishing the researcher continued success and further scientific achievements.
