Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiya, Polytechnic College – Al-Qadisiyah organized a Ramadan food basket distribution campaign in support of needy families, with contributions from several donors. This initiative embodies the values of social solidarity and human compassion during the blessed month of Ramadan.

This campaign is part of a series of community initiatives that the College Administration is committed to carrying out, aimed at enhancing the spirit of cooperation and solidarity with underprivileged groups, as well as reinforcing the principle of social responsibility within the academic community.

The College Dean, Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiya, emphasized that these initiatives are an important aspect of the College’s humanitarian mission, alongside its academic role. He pointed out that supporting needy families is a national and ethical duty that reflects the authenticity of Iraqi society and its noble values. He also expressed appreciation for the donors’ contributions in ensuring the success of this blessed campaign.

For their part, the participants in the campaign expressed their pride in contributing to this humanitarian effort, affirming their ongoing support for initiatives that strengthen bonds of love and brotherhood among community members, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
