Assistant Professor Dr. Bashaer Khudair Abbas Al-Khafaji, a faculty member in the Department of Accounting Techniques at the Polytechnic College – Al-Qadisiyah, participated in the committee for the defense of a master’s thesis at the Administrative Technical College / Kufa.
The thesis was presented by the student Ali Naqi Salem Ghalib Hussein, entitled:
“The Impact of Sustainable Financial Disclosure and Corporate Performance on the Market Value of the Company in Light of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Standards.”
The defense session featured a distinguished scientific presentation addressing the topic of sustainable financial disclosure and corporate performance, and their impact on the market value of companies under Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards. The session included an extensive academic discussion that contributed to enriching the thesis topic and deepening its findings.
The committee decided to approve the thesis with a grade of “Very Good” after a comprehensive scientific discussion that praised the quality of the research and the significant academic effort invested, given the topic’s scientific and practical importance in advancing accounting and financial practices.
