The Department of Accounting Techniques at Al-Polytechnic College – Al-Qadisiyah, one of the formations of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a training course entitled “Quality of Accounting Auditing and Its Impact on Improving the Performance of Economic Institutions.”
The lectures of the course were delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Farfad Faisal Jad’an, Head of the Department; Assistant Professor Dr. Amal Marwa Al-Khazaali; and Instructor Fatima Faleh Ouda. The sessions addressed the conceptual framework of accounting auditing, the determinants of audit quality, and the role of auditing in enhancing transparency and credibility. They also discussed the impact of audit quality on financial performance and methods for its improvement.
The course aimed to strengthen participants’ knowledge of the practical aspects of accounting auditing and to enhance their professional quality competencies, thereby contributing to institutional performance development and supporting sound financial governance practices in economic institutions.
