Al-Polytechnic College – Al-Qadisiyah, in cooperation with Al-Najaf Engineering Technical College and Al-Rumaitha Technical Institute, and in partnership with Erbil Polytechnic University, is preparing to organize its First International Scientific Conference entitled:
“1st International Conference on Engineering-Science Nexus for Sustainable Development (ESNSD 2026)”
The conference is scheduled to be held on 14–15 April 2026 under the slogan:
“Technical Education: Our Path toward Achieving Sustainable Development Goals.”
In this context, the Dean of Al-Polytechnic College – Al-Qadisiyah, Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiyah, held a meeting with the conference Supporting Committee to review the latest logistical and organizational preparations necessary for the successful conduct of the conference.
The meeting addressed various work axes, including the preparation of halls and scientific sessions, organizing mechanisms for receiving researchers and participants, and following up on the tasks of the technical, administrative, and media committees to ensure that all activities are carried out with the highest levels of accuracy and organization.
The Dean emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts and strengthening coordination among all members of the Supporting Committee to deliver the conference at a level befitting the standing of Al-Polytechnic College – Al-Qadisiyah and its role in supporting scientific research and enhancing the academic environment.
He also stressed the necessity of adhering to the established timelines for completing assigned tasks, while working to overcome any obstacles that may arise during the preparation period.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the members of the Supporting Committee for their dedicated efforts, reaffirming the College Deanship’s full support to ensure the conference is conducted in accordance with the highest scientific and organizational standards.
