Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, in cooperation with the college’s technological incubator, held a training course within the training plan for the academic year 2025–2026 titled “Pricing Strategies for Insurance Services in the Iraqi Market.” The course was attended by students from the Department of Insurance Techniques.
The lectures were delivered by Asst. Prof. Yas Khudair Abbas, Asst. Lect. Hassan Hadi Mashkour, and Asst. Lect. Omayma Farman Thomas, who covered important scientific and practical topics in the field of insurance.
The course covered identifying the latest pricing models for insurance services, risk analysis mechanisms, and the construction of pricing packages. It also discussed smart competitive strategies away from price wars in the Iraqi market, in addition to practical applications and interactive workshops derived from the reality of the local market.
This course comes within the framework of Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College’s efforts to enhance the practical skills required by the insurance and business sector in the local market, and to provide students with the applied expertise that keeps pace with labor market requirements.
