Based on the principle of scientific cooperation between educational institutions, state departments, and the private sector, the Department of Nursing Techniques at Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College, under the supervision of a group of the department’s faculty members, organized a scientific visit to the Maternity and Children’s Teaching Hospital in Diwaniyah.
This visit falls within the framework of the practical application of the Pediatric Nursing course for second-stage students. The students reviewed child vaccination schedules, administration methods, and timing, and familiarized themselves with the forms and models used in vaccination processes. This contributes to enhancing students’ practical skills and linking them to real-world practices in health institutions.
This visit stems from the college’s firm belief that the practical aspect represents the fundamental pillar in preparing a competent nurse capable of providing safe and comprehensive health care for children, in line with the requirements of the modern health sector.
