Accounting Techniques Department Organizes a Scientific Visit to Al-Diwaniyah Traffic Directorate

The Accounting Techniques Department at Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College organized a scientific visit to the Al-Diwaniyah Traffic Directorate for first-stage students. The visit was supervised by Asst. Lect. Saif Bassam Saeed, Asst. Lect. Suhad Abdul-Amir Kadhim, and Ms. Muntaha Marza Sakhil.

The visit aimed to provide students with insights into the accounting and administrative procedures adopted by the directorate. It focused on identifying the mechanisms for organizing financial records, fees, and revenues related to public services, thereby enhancing students’ practical skills and bridging the gap between theoretical studies and real-world applications in government institutions.

The program included a field tour of relevant departments and sections, where students observed the documentation of financial transactions and the organization of accounting entries and ledgers. Specialized staff provided detailed explanations on financial collection methods, auditing procedures, and revenue management in accordance with current regulations and instructions.

Discussions also highlighted the vital role of the accounting system in supporting administrative work, ensuring transparency, and maintaining accuracy in recording financial operations to enhance the institution’s overall performance efficiency.

At the conclusion of the visit, the supervisors and students expressed their gratitude to the management and staff of the Al-Diwaniyah Traffic Directorate for their warm reception, cooperation, and comprehensive briefings, emphasizing the importance of such scientific visits in developing students’ professional expertise.
