The Business Administration Techniques Department at Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College organized a scientific visit to the Central Library at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. A group of students participated in the visit under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Wasan Kamil Aflouk, Dr. Salima Najm Abdullah, Assistant Lecturer Sanaa Saad Kadhim, Assistant Lecturer Duha Salem, Assistant Lecturer Zainab Jassim, Ms. Iman Jihad, and Mr. Mohammed Fawaz.
The visit aimed to enhance the students’ scientific and cognitive development and to familiarize them with the key services and resources the library provides to researchers and students.
The program included an introduction to the library’s departments, the organization of books and scientific references, as well as an overview of search methods, borrowing procedures, and available electronic services. This initiative is part of the department’s ongoing scientific activities designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application while fostering a culture of continuous research among students.
The visit achieved several key objectives, most notably identifying available academic references, developing scientific research skills through the use of databases and modern sources, and encouraging students to utilize the scientific and cultural services offered within the university
