The Student Affairs Department at the Polytechnic College of Al-Diwaniyah (Al-Qadisiyah) — an affiliate of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University — organized a workshop titled “Mechanisms of Operating the Student Information System (SIS) and Ways to Develop It.” The workshop saw the participation of several department staff members and relevant personnel.

The workshop was presented by the Head of the Student Affairs Department, Asst. Lect. Khalid Kazim Mohammed, alongside Asst. Lect. Ikhlas Kazim Kulklan, and Asst. Lect. Wijdan Jibs Saleh. The presenters delivered a comprehensive scientific and practical explanation of the operating mechanisms of the Student Information System (SIS), highlighting its prominent functions and applications in organizing and managing student data, as well as administrative and academic operations.

Furthermore, the workshop addressed effective methods to develop these work mechanisms, aiming to enhance performance quality and streamline various procedures. Practical examples were also demonstrated to maximize the system’s benefits and achieve optimal results within the workplace environment.

This workshop is part of a series of activities and programs that the Student Affairs Department strives to implement. These initiatives aim to develop job skills and promote the utilization of modern electronic systems to keep pace with the requirements of technical and administrative advancements.
