The Women’s Affairs Unit at Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College, a division of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized an awareness seminar titled “Institutional Discipline is the Basis of Success in the Work Environment.” The event was held in cooperation with the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Techniques, in accordance with the Executive Plan for the National Strategy for Iraqi Women / Pillar 3 / Paragraph 2.
The seminar was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Lubna Abdul-Rahim, Assistant Lecturer Zainab Youssef, and Assistant Lecturer Raneen Mowaffaq.
The seminar addressed the concept of institutional discipline and its fundamental role in achieving success and stability within the workplace. It highlighted that compliance with laws and instructions, punctuality, and fulfilling duties with a sense of responsibility are among the most prominent factors contributing to enhancing performance efficiency and achieving institutional goals.
The seminar also emphasized that discipline is not limited to mere formal compliance, but rather encompasses professional behavior, cooperation among employees, respect for administrative hierarchy, and working with a teamwork spirit.
Furthermore, the session discussed the impact of discipline on fostering trust among personnel and creating a positive work environment dominated by justice and organization, which directly reflects on work quality, productivity, and the delivery of the best possible services.
