The Deanship of the College held a celebration on the occasion of the auspicious Eid al-Ghadir, attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Zaki Muhammad Abbas Bahiah, along with several heads and coordinators of scientific departments, staff, and students, to commemorate this blessed occasion and recall its sublime religious and humanitarian values.
The ceremony commenced with reciting Surah Al-Fatiha for the souls of Iraq’s righteous martyrs, followed by listening to verses from the Holy Quran. Afterward, several religious chants and poems were presented, praising the virtues of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him), and the greatness of the Ghadir day.
The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Zaki Muhammad Abbas Bahiah, delivered a speech on this occasion, extending his highest congratulations and blessings to the academic community, the Iraqi people, and the Islamic nation. He emphasized the importance of drawing lessons and morals from the Ghadir event, and solidifying the principles of justice, sincerity, and loyalty to the noble values embodied by the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).
